Mumbai, Feb 2 (PTI) Englishman Ian Gould and Australian Steve Davis will be the two on-field umpires for the two-Test series between India and South Africa commencing on February 6 at Nagpur. India''s Amish Saheba would be the third umpire in the series opener, according to Cricket Board sources. Gould would be one of the two on-field umpires during the ODI series to follow.

Pak-Australia Perth ODI marred by controversies

Islamabad, Feb. 1 (ANI): Sunday's ODI match between Australia and Pakistan would be remembered for all the wrong reasons. First, Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi was caught biting on a ball and then Pakistani batsman Khalid Latif was tackled to the ground by a Perth spectator.Latif expressed deep concern about the tackling incident.
"It shouldn't be happening. It just should not be happening. It is not that big a deal to me because I am OK. I am not hurt. It was nothing too shocking, but it was still not what you want to have happening in a game of cricket," the Sydney Morning Herald Quoted him, as saying.

Every team tampers ball: Afridi

Karachi, Feb 1 (PTI) A defiant Shahid Afridi today made a startling allegation that every team indulges in ball-tampering even though felt he should not have done it. Banned for two Twenty20 Internationals for biting the ball during the fifth and final ODI against Australia in Perth, Afridi said ball-tampering was nothing new and that only his method was wrong. "There is no team in the world that doesn''t tamper with the ball," said Afridi in his defence. "My methods were wrong.
