Cuttack (Orissa), Sep 21 (PTI) Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bangalore defeated Pune Football Club (PFC) 1-0 in the second match on the opening day of the 32nd Federation Cup Football Tournament at the historic Barabati Stadium here today. Barabati Stadium, which is hosting Federation Cup tournament after a gap of 23 years, conducted the match under flood light for the first time. In a keenly fought and exciting match, both the teams exhibited equal skill and talent at the feild, but HAL''s Jagada Amada emerged as the only player who achieved success by scoring a goal. The lone goal of the match came at 17th minute with Jagada Amada bringing victory for HAL while all out efforts of PFC failed to yield any result. The players of both the teams virtually struggled at the ground to see the sucess. PFC, however, turned out to be unlucky as its players failed to translate two successive opportunities into goals.
