"There are some top teams in the Games but our team has in it to make it to the podium," Ajitpal said. The former captain spoke at the release of a book ''Indian Hockey and Commonwealth Games'', penned by senior journalist Satyendra Pal. Former coach and Olympian Zafar Iqbal was also present on at the book-launch function and he said the youngsters need to be told about the golden era of Indian hockey for inspiration. "Today''s generation does not know about the former greats. Efforts should be made in this regard. If the new generation players get to know about the former players, they will definitely get some inspiration," Iqbal said.
