Chandigarh, Oct 11 (PTI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has congratulated the Krishna Poonia, Harwant Kaur and Seema Antil on winning all the three medals for India in Discus Throw event in the Commonwealth Games today. While complementing Krishna Poonia, Hooda said that she has created history by breaking India''s 52-year-old Commonwealth Games gold medal jinx in athletics. She has become the first woman athlete from the country to win at Commonwealth Games. It is the first gold after ''Flying Sikh'' Milkha Singh''s 440 yard race gold in the 1958 edition of the Games in Cardiff, Wales. Hooda said that the achievements by our women athletes have made the country proud. Krishna Poonia won the gold by throwing the discus to 61.51m, Harwant came up with an effort of 60.61m, while Seema Antil threw the discus to a distance of 58.46m.
