Singapore, Aug 20 (PTI) Indian woman archer Seema Verma lost 1-3 to Zoe Gobbels of Belgium in the pre-quarterfinals of the archery individual event in the inaugural Youth Olympics Games here today. Archery was the only event in which an Indian participated on the sixth day of the Games today and it turned out to be a disappointing affair for Seema, who could manage just one score of 10, against Gobbels'' four 10s. Seema had defeated Sorsa Tanja of Finland 6-0 in the 1/16 elimination round. Kwak Ye Ji of Korea won the gold, while Chinese Taipei''s Tan Ya-Ting bagged the silver medal at Kallang field here. India have so far won two silver and a bronze medal and are assured of another silver with Yuki Bhambri reaching the final in tennis. Wrestler Pooja Dhanda had bagged a silver in women''s 60kg freestyle while Kadian Satyawart fetched a bronze in men''s 100kg freestyle. HS Prannoy settled for a silver in the badminton event yesterday. India fielded 32 competitors in the inaugural edition of the Games which is meant for athletes in the age group of 14 to 18.
