Chennai, Aug 23 (IANS) Local lad K.B. Arun Karthik hit 121 for Tamil Nadu against arch-rivals Hyderabad as the home team scored 256 runs in 90 overs in the Buchi Babu Memorial All-India cricket tournament, here Monday.
Rains and wet conditions threw the schedule out of gear, but Karthick thrived in the conditions that affected other matches - Mumbai vs Andhra and Pujab vs Vidarbha.
The first day's play in the other five matches slated for Monday was called off without a ball being bowled.
