Ashish Sharma of AG Punjab cornered glory beating Vijay of Delhi Audit in straight sets 21-13, 21-14 to claim title in the men's singles category during the Indian Audit and Accounts Department Badminton tournament held at Sector 42 Badminton Hall in Chandigarh on Tuesday. In the women's singles final, Bhawna of AG Haryana emerged as champion outclassing Saroj of AG Haryana by 21-9, 21-9 with ease. It was duo of Ashish and Amit who got the better off Deepak and Amit by 21-10, 21-10 to clinch the men's doubles title. Meanwhile, in the veterans final, Swarup of AG Haryana drubbed Vinod of AG Himachal Pradesh by 18-21, 26-24, 22-20 in a well contested match.
