Kalyani (WB), Nov 23 (PTI) Director of National Cricket Academy, Sandip Patil today said there is immense talent in all levels of cricket in our country. "We have immense talent in all levels of cricket in our country. But we are trying to tap raw talents and promote them," Patil, who has played 29 Tests and has scored 1588 runs, said here. "We would like to tap raw talents around 14-year-olds and nourish them with a view to make good Test cricketers," he said. The NCA director visited ground and the cricket academy set up by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) here. "The field here is excellent and very few academies in India, even the NCA, does not have such a beautiful ground," Patil said after visiting the ground. There are four nets for practice, two dressing rooms, temporary office room, canteen and swimming pool at the academy here. Patil said the NCA has taken land of 50 acres near Bangalore airport. He called upon the coaches to to take cricket coaching course arranged by NCA. "Please join the NCA courses. It has been developed nicely as the development of cricket depends upon the overall improvement of coaching standard," he said. The coaching on curators will also be arranged by the NCA soon, he added.
