London, Jun 15 (ANI): England batsman Kevin Pietersen, who is known for his wild partying, has sobered down since becoming a father.
Speaking for the first time about parenthood, Pietersen said: "Changing nappies at 5am still drunk is probably not the best thing in the world so I haven't had any nights out as a dad - only a couple of sedate dinners."
To be by wife Jessica's side for the birth of son Dylan, Pietersen flew back from the World Twenty20 tournament in Barbados before flying back again to beat Australia in the final.
"We have a very understanding child who realises his parents need their beauty sleep. He is eating well, sleeping well and has been a good little man," The Mirror quoted Pietersen, as saying.
"I love every single second of it and. Jess has been a brilliant mum. You couldn't ask for anything better," he added. (ANI)
