London, July 16 (ANI): Ruling out any immediate return of international cricket in Pakistan, the International Cricket Council (ICC), Chief Executive Haroon Logart has said that the apex authority would take stock of the situation in the terror hit country in December this year.

Talking to journalists here, Lorgat said the ICC was doing its best to accommodate the loss that the Pakistan cricket has been witnessing due to the refusal of foreign teams to visit the country over to security fears, and added that for the time being the best available option for Pakistan was to continue playing its home series on neutral grounds.

"We are doing our best to make sure that Pakistan continues playing international cricket. At the moment the best option for them is to play their home series aboard and that is exactly what they are doing," The News quoted Lorgat, as saying.

He said the ICC was in close contact with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), and would take it into confidence before deciding on future series. (ANI)
