Kolkata, Nov 22 (PTI) Subair Muritala Ali struck twice in the dying minutes to lead defending champions Mohun Bagan to a come-from-behind victory over Peerless SC in their Calcutta Football League (CFL) Premier Division encounter here today. Riding on Binod Bauri''s 44th goal and some fine saves by custodian Deasish Das, Peerless S C, playing on the green and maroon''s home turf, led 1-0 for a major part of the match before Muritala fired in two back-to-back goals to snatch full points. A few lapses towards the end denied the minnows what would have been a famous win. Muritala opened his account in the 89th minute, when he struck from an Edeh Chidi cross, and in the third minute of the injury time, he struck another from a corner kick for the decisive goal. The win helped Mohun Bagan go level with arch-rivals East Bengal (37 points) on the table. The red and gold, however, lead the table by virtue of having a better goal difference. Mohun Bagan played 14 matches to East Bengal''s 13. Peerless S C remained at 15 points from 12 outings.
