Pak badminton team gets visa to play in Delhi

Lahore, Apr 9 (ANI): Indian has given visa to the six-member kistan badminton team, which will be leaving for Delhi on turday to participate in the Asian Badminton Championship.

The team will go to India via Wagah border.

The Asian Badminton Championship will be played from April 12 to 8 in Delhi.

Wajid Ali will captain Pakistan team as Umar Zeeshan, Kashif ulehri, Rizwan Azam, Sara Khan and Palwasha Bashir are also in he team, The News reports.

The Pakistan badminton Federation did not hold training camp for he preparations of the championship and the players practiced ndividually in their own cities.

No manager or coach has been appointed for the team as only a ix-man squad can take part in the event. Thus, maximum players an get exposure due to this decision.

However, Wajid Ali will also perform the duties of manager and oach besides captaining the team. (ANI)
