New Delhi, July 30 (ANI): The Special Commissioner of Delhi Police (Administration), Neeraj Kumar, on Friday said there would be full proof security for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

"Security arrangements are being made in right direction and during the (Commonwealth) Games the security will be fool proof. In this meeting, totally 105 members participated from 19 countries," said Kumar after a meeting with the representatives of the participating countries to review the security during the mega event.

"Till today, we have not received any specific threat. But keeping in mind the security conditions in the world and especially in south Asia, all precautions have been taken," he added.

Representatives of 105 members from 19 countries participated in the discussions during the second International Security Administrators Conference.

The 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi is being touted as the biggest international sporting event to be hosted by India since the 1982 Delhi Asian Games.

Its success is being seen as the first step for India to bid for bigger events. (ANI)
