Delhi beat Tripura by innings and 130 runs

New Delhi, Oct 26 (PTI) Milind Kumar and Sunny Sehrawat struck useful half centuries while Varun Sood shone with the ball as Delhi beat Tripura by an innings and 130 runs in the under-22 Col. C K Nayadu Trophy here today. After piling 334 in reply to Tripura''s first-innings total of 75, Delhi bowled out Tripura for just 129 in their second essay, with Sood taking five wickets for 18 runs. Earlier in the day, Suman and Sehrawat laid the foundation for Delhi''s victory by scoring 84 and 71 runs, respectively. Brief scores: Tripura 1st innings: 75 all Delhi 1st innings: 334 all out in 91 overs (Milind Kumar 84, Sunny Sehrawat 71, Rahul Yadav 42; Amit Gauande 3\53). Tripura 2nd innings: 129 all out in 33.4 overs (Gourav Bhatiya 52; Varun Sood 5\18, Sunny Sehrawat 3\40).
