Indians shoot gold in World Cup Archery

Kolkata, June 11 -- The Indian trio of Rahul Banerjee, Mangal Singh Champia and Jayanta Talukdar clinched the men's team recurve gold medal with a 218-214 win over the US in the final of the World Cup archery (Stage II) in Antalya, Turkey. The Indian trio proved too good for the Americans - Brady Ellison, Richard Johnson and Vic Wunderle - and maintained the lead throughout the final to win the first gold medal of the series.
