London, Jun 18 (ANI): Kevin Pietersen has left Hampshire as it was becoming impossible to continue playing on the South Coast because he lived 80 miles away in London.
Pietersen's determination to play in London automatically limits his choice to Surrey and Middlesex.
Hampshire chairman Rod Bransgrove said: "Given England's critical dependence on KP, we have not seen anything like as much of him as we wanted."
"I don't blame Kevin but these international players are now owned almost entirely by England," The Sun quoted Bransgrove, as saying. (ANI)
