Indian athlete Rani Yadav flunks dope test,suspended

New Delhi,October 13 (ANI): Athlete Rani Yadav,who finished in 6th position in the 20-kilometre walk event,has tested positive for the banned substance Nandrolone and thus have been provisionally suspended from the Commonwealth Games.Earlier in the day,Commonwealth Games Federation chief Michael Fennell has hinted that an Indian athlete had flunked the dope test during the ongoing mega-event.Expressing his disappointment,Lalit Bhanot,Secretary General of the Games Organising Committee, said it was unfortunate that despite the stringent checks by the National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) and sports federations,another player had failed the test.
