Wellington, Sept.29 (ANI): Black Caps opening batsman Brendon McCullum says he can't wait to rekindle his old relationship with fellow opener Jesse Ryder in Bangladesh.
McCullum and Ryder last opened together in September last year where they shared a 125 run partnership against Sri Lanka in Johannesburg, the New Zealand Herald reports.
Meanwhile there's a growing expectation for new Black Cap fast bowler Hamish Bennett to step up during the tour of Bangladesh.
Bennett's record in domestic cricket is not flash, with 24 wickets at an average of 37 runs.
However McCullum's expecting Bennett's pace to trouble the home side.
He says Bennett's big, strong, bowls as fast as he can and will do really well if he gets an opportunity.
The Black Caps have just arrived in Dhaka for five one dayers. (ANI)
