Gros Islet (St Lucia), May 11 (IANS) England defeated New Zealand by three wickets in the last Super Eights group E match and knocked them out of the World Twenty20.
England qualified for the semi-final with an all win record in the Super Eights and also carried defending champions Pakistan to the last four stage along with it.
England crossed the target of 150 runs with five balls to spare. Eoin Morgan (40), Michael Lumb (32), Luke Wright (23) all played their part in overhauling the target.
