Cape Town, June 25(ANI): Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas is tipping the United States to reach the World Cup semi-finals after they snatched a dramatic place in the last 16.

Fabregas said that he is not surprised that Bob Bradley's men have topped Group C ahead of England.

"The best moment for me at the World Cup so far was that nail biting end when the USA scored in the last minute against Algeria. It was an incredible finale and was the most memorable one for me," The Sun quoted Fabregas, as saying.

"They are a great team. We found that out when they beat us in the semi-finals of the Confederation Cup last year. So, I wasn't surprised at all they finished top of the group. They are fit and strong and dangerous on the counter-attack."

"They are in a good side of the draw now - they have Ghana next, then maybe Uruguay in the quarter-finals. So, I can see them reaching the semi-finals and then who knows what might happen," he added.

Fabregas further believes that England can beat Germany on Sunday, and will get stronger as the tournament goes on.

"I saw their first two games and they are better than that, they are stronger than that and they should score more goals. On any day you can beat any team," he said. (ANI)
