Tight security for third ODI

Panaji, Oct 21 (PTI) Tight security arrangements have been made to ensure no untoward incident take place during the third and final ODI between India and Australia to be played at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda on October 24. GCA President Dayanand Narvekar said four towers will be used for the first time at the stadium and 100 men in plain clothes will be among the spectators to spot troublemakers. As per the BCCI guidelines, bunkers will be installed outside the stadium and CCTVs at strategic points outside and inside the stadium. The security will be watertight and every entrant will be frisked and metal detectors will be installed at all the entry points. Women will be allowed to carry their purses and people will be allowed to carry mobiles but not the cameras, Narvekar added. .
