India named Sachin Tendulkar in the squad for this month's two-test series against Bangladesh after the batsman had opted out of the ongoing triangular one-day series involving Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
India, the top ranked team in the official ICC test rankings, will play test matches in Chittagong (Jan. 17-21) and in Mirpur (Jan. 24-28).
India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Vangipurappu Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Shanthakumaran Sreesanth, Amit Mishra, Pragyan Ojha, Ishant Sharma, Murali Vijay, Dinesh Karthik, Sudeep Tyagi.
