New Delhi, Mar 9 (PTI) Pakistan''s participation in the Commonwealth Boxing Championship is in doubt as they are yet to get the requisite government clearance to travel to India for the event, starting Friday. Pakistan, which was supposed to send a full 10-member squad for the Championship, has not intimated the organisers about whether they will be in the capital or not. "There is no news from Pakistan. The last we heard, they had not got the government clearance. Most of the teams will be here by tonight or tomorrow and there is no word from them... so I guess, their participation is doubtful," said an Indian Boxing Federation official. "We are waiting to hear from them," he added. Australia, Canada and Ghana are the countries which have officially pulled out of the competition so far. Among the foreign teams which have landed in the capital are England, Scotland, Wales and they are set to be joined by other participants by tonight. India has traditionally done well in the tournament and were champions in 2005 when Akhil Kumar (56kg) clinched a gold and Olympic and World Championship bronze medallist Vijender Singh brought home a silver.
