Karachi, Mar 19 (PTI) Pakistan Cricket Board''s disciplinary committee will meet on Monday to look into complaints that allrounder Rana Naved tampered the ball during the recent national T20 championship in Karachi. Sultan Rana, who heads the domestic cricket operations in the board said that serious allegations has been made against Rana Naved which need to be investigated. "We have received the captain''s and match-referee''s reports and we also have a complaint from the Karachi City Cricket Association," he said. Rana said if need arise the committee would review the footage of the matches and also call Rana to explain himself. The KCCA, in its complaint to the board, has accused umpires of favouring the Sialkot Stallions team (which won the T20 title this year) and also of ignoring ball tampering acts by Rana Naved. Rana was banned for one year and fined two million rupees for misconduct during the Australian tour. The board also excluded him from the list of centrally contracted players today along with the other banned players. Rana said the board viewed ball tampering acts seriously and had recently fined fast bowler Muhammad Irshad, who has played for the Pakistan A team, 10,000 rupees for tampering with the ball in a domestic match. "The disciplinary committee will consider all facts before deciding on the complaint against Rana," he added. PTI Cor ATK
