New Delhi, Apr 9 (PTI) Randhir Singh Ghotra upstaged Gaurav Ghei while Vinod Kumar pulled the rug from under Harendra Gupta''s feet to sail into the semifinal of the SRF All India Professional Golf Matchplay Championship here today. Delhi golfers Ashok Kumar tamed Ali Sher while Shamim Khan edged out Chiragh Kumar to complete the semifinal line-up at the Delhi Golf Club. Ghotra first upstaged one of the top contenders, Gaurav Ghei, by a 3&2 margin in his pre-quarter-final match played in the morning and then came up trumps later with a 2&1 victory over Navtez Singh of Jamshedpur. Defending champion and second seed Ashok Kumar beat Rafick Ali Mollah of Kolkata 2&1 in the pre-quarters and then prevailed 1 Up against veteran Ali Sher in the quarter-finals. Ashok will now play third seed Shamim Khan, who edged out Chiragh Kumar on the 19th hole in the round of 16 and then routed Raju Ali Mollah 6&4 margin in his quarter-final match. Delhi golfer Vinod Kumar also booked a semi-final berth after upsetting fifth seed Harendra Gupta 2&1 and Patna''s Mohd Islam 1 Up.
