Pakistan officials worried over match fixing

The leaking of video showing Pakistan team management raising suspicions about match fixing have resulted in Pakistan Cricket Board chief Ijaz Butt being summoned to appear in front of a parliamentary committee.

The Lower House's Standing Committee on Sports has asked Butt to appear next week and has formed a committee of retired judges to investigate the workings of the PCB.

Pakistan coaches raised concerns about a test match against Australia in video statements leaked to a local television station.

Team coach Intikhab Alam and assistant coach Aqib Javed have raised suspicions of Pakistan's performance during the country's woeful tour of Australia earlier in the year.
