Panaji, Aug 7 (PTI) The 60th edition of the Mahindra Great Escape, one of India''s most loved off-roading adventures, concluded successfully here with over 80 vehicles from the Mahindra stable manoeuvring the challenging route. Mahindra customers from Goa and its neighbouring areas, including Mumbai, participated in the rally. The rally was flagged off at 10:00 am from Majestic Hotel, Porvorim, North Goa. Iconic Mahindra SUVs such as the Scorpio, Bolero, Gateway, Legend, Major and Classic negotiated an arduous 75 km route consisting of rocky terrain, slush, canals and streams. En route, the convoy of vehicles passed through the hamlets of Colvale, Revora, Pirna, Sirsaim, Asonora, Advalpal, Nanora, Ladfem and Bicholim before reaching Porvorim, the finish point. "We are delighted to return to Goa, one of our favourite destinations, for the 60th edition of the Mahindra great escape. The scenic yet challenging route was an off roader''s delight and gave Mahindra customers an idea of the tough and enduring nature of Mahindra Vehicles," said Vivek Nayer, senior Vice-President, Marketing automotive sector, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. "We plan to return with another fun-filled edition of the Great Escape, shortly," he said.
