London, Sept 21 (ANI): England and Manchester City stars Adam Johnson, 23, and Micah Richards, 22, bid 12,000 pounds between them for a night out with Katie Price, who is looking to raise the funds for the Meningitis Trust.
The 32-year-old mum-of-three put herself up for auction and promised to leave hubby Alex Reid at home.
"Katie wanted to do her bit to raise money for the meningitis charity. So she offered to take the winner out for a posh dinner at a restaurant of their choice - and insisted Alex would not be coming along," The Mirror quoted a source as saying.
"Adam Johnson is a huge Katie fan. He had posters of her on his bedroom wall back in the day. But at 10k pounds, Adam stalled so Micah came to the rescue, saying he'd chip in another 2,000 pounds and they'd both take Katie out for supper," he added.
"When the hammer came down on 12,000 pounds, everyone cheered. Katie went over and gave both boys a peck on the cheek and told them, tongue in cheek, they were in for the 'night of their lives'," the source said. (ANI)
