Sydney, Nov 12(ANI): Australian batsman Cameron White reckons that his development as a one-day cricketer is hampering his push for a Test recall.
"While you're away playing one-day cricket, other people who are in contention for other spots back home play and make runs for their Shield side," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted White, as saying.
"It probably doesn't help in terms of Test cricket, but plenty of people have made their transition from one-day cricket for Australia into the Test line-up," he added.
Since cementing a spot in Australia's ODI and Twenty20 sides in 2009, White has played only five Sheffield Shield games for the Victorian Bushrangers.
White's comments come despite national selector Greg Chappell's assurance that form on the world stage would be considered differently to that on the domestic front. (ANI)
