Armstrong to take part in Circuit de la Sarthe

Seven-times Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong will take part in the Circuit de la Sarthe, a four-day race in western France, organisers said on Thursday.

"Seven years after his last participation, he is back in Sarthe with the RadioShack jersey," the organisers of the April 6-9 race said on their website (www.circuitcycliste.sarthe.com).

American Armstrong, 38, will first take part in the Criterium International in Corsica on March 27 and 28 when he will face fierce rival Alberto Contador of Spain.
