Karachi, Mar 23 (PTI) In a sudden change of mind, former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik has said that he will lodge his appeal with the Cricket Board (PCB) against the ban and fine next week. Malik was supposed to file the appeal yesterday against the 12 months ban and two million rupees fine imposed on him by PCB. But he said he is in consultation with his friends and family and would file an appeal after playing the Bangladesh League in Dubai. "I have always played clean cricket for my country and all allegations against me are false. I will knock on every door to get due justice. I will file the appeal with the board next week after returning from Dubai," he said at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Earlier this month, PCB had announced bans and fines on seven players on the recommendations of the inquiry committee formed to investigate Pakistan''s embarrassing performance and infighting within the team on the tour of Australia. Apart from Malik, all-rounder Rana Naved-ul Hasan is the other players who is expected to file his appeal against the one year ban and fine by this week. The PCB had even announced an arbitrary panel of three retired judges last week to hear the appeals of the players. PTI Cor SSC
