Chennai, Apr 22 (PTI) Pankaj Advani and M Chitra led with example as formidable Karnataka beat Tamil Nadu 10-7 to clinch the championship in the inter-state multi-event cue sport tournament here today. After being level having won five matches each, Karnataka wizard Advani paired with I H Manudev to show their supremacy in the two-frame format, beating Nigel and Imran Khan 176-38. Chitra then blanked Asha 2-0 (43-13, 29-21) as, in the second event today, Karnataka won five different matches as against the hosts'' two.
