Jolly Range Hills thrashed Kirkeeans 5-0 in the Sanna Anna Football Trophy held at the Range Hills ground on Wednesday. Pratik Mudliar scored twice in the opening ten minutes to set the tone for the rest of the match.
Mudliar converted Allan Das's through-ball in the 5 th minute itself, and scored again two minutes later off Ricky Pillai. Yogesh Yadav set up two of the remaining three goals, providing the pass for Gaurav K in the 12 th minute and Edwin Anthony in the 40 th minute. These goals came on either side of a Dennis Das strike in the 36 th minute as Jolly Range Hills wrapped up the match comfortably.
Giantz also had a similarly easy victory against Range Hills Milan thanks to a brilliant hat trick from Akshay Kadu. Kadu opened the scoring in the 15 th minute when he found the back of the net off a pass from Swapnil Mane. Sanjay Swamy doubled the lead for the Giants seven minutes later, with Rohan Bhosale providing the pass. Kadu then scored again in the 28 th and 30 th minute respectively to cap off a match-winning performance.
In the final match of the day, Shivajians narrowly edged out Phoenix Sports Academy. Steven Zuzart found the net after a powerful solo run, and his goal was all that separated the two teams at the full-time whistle as Shivajians won 1-0.
