Guyana, May 5 (IANS) Ireland restricted England to 120 for eight in a Group D match of the World Twenty20 at the Providence Stadium here.
Put in, England lost wickets at regular intervals before Eoin Morgan (45) and Luke Wright (20) steadied the innings with a 41-run stand for the fifth wicket. But after Boyd Rankins broke the partnership, dismissing Wright, England again against lost quick wickets in the final overs.
Rankins took two wickets giving away 25 runs while Kevin O'Brien also got two wickets for 22 runs.
