Montreal, Jun 13 (PTI) Both the Force India cars finished among points for only the second time since its inception, while Hispania driver Karun Chandhok came 18th in the Canadian Grand Prix here today. With a career-best fifth place on the starting grid, Liuzzi survived an opening lap tangle that required a new front nose for his car to finish ninth and win two points, while teammate Adrian Sutil, who had begun the race ninth, finished with one point courtesy his 10th place finish. Starting 24th on the grid, Karun survived umpteen intrigues to finish 18th in the race, which saw a McLaren one two headed by Lewis Hamilton with Jenson Button following him to the chequered flag. At least thrice Liuzzi came in contact with Felipe Massa''s Ferrari and lost the front nose in the bargain that necessitated an early pit stop. And by the time he rejoined the race, he was running 22nd after 13 laps and improved to 17 in another two laps. Sutil struggled with tyre degradation and at one stage, he was seen racing wheel-to-wheel with Liuzzi before edging ahead on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Both seemed slipping out of the points bracket but there was intense drama in the final lap as both the Force India drivers whizzed past Michael Schumacher''s Mercedes to finish among points. With 35 points in kitty, Force India stay put in the sixth place in the constructors'' championship.
