World number five Nikolay Davydenko will lead Russia in next week's Davis Cup quarter-final against Argentina.

Davydenko missed the first-round tie against India in March with a wrist injury but Russia captain Shamil Tarpishchev has recalled his number one for the Argentina clash.

Tarpishchev also included world number 14 Mikhail Youzhny, Teimuraz Gabashvili (84) and Igor Kunitsyn (104) for the July 9-11 tie at Moscow's Olympic indoor arena.

The meeting will be the fifth between the nations in the last eight years. Russia beat Argentina 3-2 at the same venue in the 2006 final to clinch their second Davis Cup title.
