Chennai, Aug 27 (IANS) Mumbai and Punjab entered the final of the Buchi Babu Memorial All-India cricket tournament here Friday, defeating Karnataka and Kerala, respectively.
Mumbai made light of the target to rout Karnataka by nine wickets. Karnataka had made 265 for nine in 90 overs, but the Mumbai pair of Sushant Marathe (141 not out, 5 x 6, 7 x 4) and Kaushtab Pawar (101 not out, 2 x 6, 10 x 4) put on 243 runs for the unbroken second wicket to carry their side to a comfortable win.
In the other semi-final, Punjab made 257 for nine and then dismissed Kerala for 204 with leg-spinner Rahul Sharma claiming six for 58.

Karnataka 265 for 9 in 90 overs (KL Rahul 39, Stuart Binny 50, C Raghu 52, Abrar Khazi 40 not out, Abhishek Nair 5-65) lost to Mumbai 266/1 in 80.3 overs (Sushant Marathe 141 not out, Kaustab Pawar 101 not out).
Punjab 257 for 9 in 90 overs (Karan Goel 79, Mandeep Singh 33, Rahul Sharma 69 not out, Ramesh 3-43) beat Kerala 204 all out in 79.3 overs (Sambasiva Sharma 33, Rohan Prem 39, Rizwan 39, Sunil Thomas 45, Rahul Sharma 6-58).
