London, Oct 22 (ANI): Wayne Rooney's hooker Jennifer Thompson has reportedly been caught in a police raid at MOBO Awards after-party at Liverpool's Hilton Hotel.
The party, which was also attended by celebrities such as Alex Gerrard and Calum Best, was supposed to finish at 4am, but had to be closed three hours early after what was described by police as a 'large scale disorder'.
It is not known where Thompson was during the fracas.
The trouble was caused by groups of people who gatecrashed the event while others with tickets were refused entry. Party-goers were also seen throwing glasses and bottles by witnesses.
Earlier in the evening, the 21-year-old prostitute enjoyed VIP treatment at the event with two friends as she was given an access-all-areas pass to down champagne and rub shoulders with celebrities.
"The MOBO event at the Echo Arena passed without incident. A number of after-show parties were held in Liverpool city centre including the official public after-show party at the Hilton Hotel," the Daily Mail quoted a Merseyside Police spokesperson as saying.
"This event became overcrowded and, as a result and in conjunction with the management, licensing powers were utilised to close the bars in the hotel at around 1am today,' the spokesperson added.
But one young witness painted a different picture of inside the event.
Johnny Collins, 26, told the Liverpool Echo: "We were in the VIP area and the music just stopped. About 40 people came running in and glass bottles were being thrown.
"It didn't seem real, I've never seen anything like it. We walked into the main room and there were two girls pulling each other's hair and there was blood on the floor." (ANI)
