Valencia (Spain), Nov 5(ANI): The tennis duo comprising Rohan Bopanna of India and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan has advanced into the quarterfinals of the ATP World Tour Championship men's doubles event in Valencia, Spain.
Bopanna and Qureshi defeated the pair of Jaun Monaco of Argentina and Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay 7-6, 4-6, 14-12 in one hour and 35 minutes in their pre quarterfinal match, the News reports.
The 'Indo-Pak Express' will now face the all-Spanish duo of Marc Lopez and Davis Marreo in the last eight.
A good showing in Valencia could help Aisam and Rohan finish among the world's top eight doubles team this year and help them make the cut for the year-end Masters in London next month.
The pair had progressed to the quarterfinals of the ATP Kremlin Cup last month, where they were defeated by Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki. (ANI)
