Chennai, Nov 28 (PTI) Chennai lad Saran Vikram of Mars Racing virtually sealed the driver''s title in his favour in the Formula LGB Rolon class of the 13th edition of the JK Tyre National road racing championship at nearby Sriperumbudur here today. The lone entry for his team, Vikram won back to back races to remain in safe position with 53 points, 17 ahead of teenager Vikas Anand (36) of VAD Racing. Third placed Sarosh Hatoria (35) from whom a good performance was expected, flopped miserably, suffering problems in his car in both races this weekend. The other highlights of the day were the podium finish of father son combine of B Vijaya Kumar and Raj Viruthan (Prime Racing) behind winner Siddarth Kishore of Performance Racing in Super Saloon Category and TVS Girling''s Ameya Walavalkar winning back to back races in Formula Swift Race. Sailesh Bolisetti who had understeer problems in his Polo car and wrong tyre selection in yesterday''s first Super Saloon event, today found he still has problems and gave way for others to win in these two events during the weekend. A win and a second place in Polo Cup helped Parth Ghorpade of Kolhapur forge ahead as points leader,pushing Boilisetti to second spot. Ghorpade aggregated 359 points to Bolisetti''s 333. Vishnu Prasad is in third place with 277 points. The Formula LGB Rolon race saw Saran making a swift start and leading to the finish. Despite the huge lead he built up over Vikash Anand, he did not relax. He finished 4.773 seconds ahead, timing 19:13.687 seconds to Anand''s 19:18.460 secs. Veteran Sarosh Hatoria had the consolation of finishing third in 19:42.449 seconds. .
