Bhopal, Nov 8 (PTI) Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Umashankar Gupta will inaugurate the four-day 49th State level Police Meet at the Motilal Nehru Stadium on November 12. 700 players including 50 women will take part in the meet in which six teams would be seen in action, said Surendra Singh, additional director general (ADG) for Special Armed Force. The ADG added that any player who is above 35 years old will not be allowed to take part in the meet. "This has been done with an eye on attracting new and young talent and making sure that old players go out gracefully," Singh said. He said that apart from team events like hockey, football, volleyball, basketball and kabaddi, competitions would be held in judo, wrestling, weightlifting and athletics. PTI AS RRN AH
