Kolkata, Nov 29 (PTI) The country''s top bridge players including Anand Mehta, father-in-law of star cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, will be seen in action at the Winter National Bridge championship to be held here next month, organising secretary of the tournament Arijit Guha said today. Besides Mehta, other noted players like Kamal Mukherjee, Subhas Gupta, Pritish Kusari, Manas Mukherjee, Kiran Nadar, B Prabhakar Rao and Rajesh Dalal would take part in the meet where players from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka would also join. Addressing a press conference, Guha said about 1500 players would take part in the meet to be held at Netaji Indoor Stadium between December 10 and 17. Six events are on the cards: Ruia Gold and Ruia Silver team events, IMP Pairs, Holkar Pairs, categorized and mixed pairs. The tournament offers a total prize money of Rs four lakh beside trophies.
