Berlin, Nov 22 (DPA) Adrian Sutil has reached an agreement in principle to renew his contract at the Force India Formula One team for the next season, the German driver's manager said Monday.
Manager Manfred Zimmermann told DPA that the contract should be signed within the next two or three weeks.
Sutil, 27, has been with Force India since the team was founded in 2008. He was placed 11th in the past season with 47 points.
Reports had mentioned Sutil in connection with a move to Renault, but the French team appears set to keep its Russian driver Vitaly Petrov.
