Kolkata, Jan 23 (PTI) D Byramji trained Echoes of Light confidently ridden by C Alford, lifted the Indian Champion Cup (Grade I) the feature event of the races here today. It was set in a record time of two minute 03.892 secnds, overhandling Aperitivo and Rasadais (Dead Heat) 2006 record of two minute 4.12 seconds. The winner is owned by Deepak Khaitan representing Som Stud Farm Pvt Ltd. Lt Gen V K Singh presented the trophy to the winner in the Parade ring. Thundering Hooves (P Kamalesh up) from the Camp of Arti Doctor, claimed the Aperitivo Cup and the Lt Gen Jameel Mahmood Memorial Trophy was won by Adriano (C Alford as tide) for Schooler Vijay Singh, the other two important events of the day.
