New York, Jan 12 (PTI) A batch of bootleg Gatorade with ''fake'' labels depicting a picture of golfer Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren with the word ''unfaithful'' have appeared in Denver stores. However, the energy drinks company said the labels were fake and had not been issued by them. Notably, Gatorade, owned by Pepsico sponsors Woods. The incident happened amidst speculations of the whereabouts of Woods, who had disappeared after a scandal which revealed a series of extramarital affairs of the golfer. Since then, ten women in their twenties and thirties claimed that they had relations with Woods. Reporters from 9News channel found an email address on the label and tracked it to a man named Jason Kay. Kay admitted that he had altered the label to help his friend with a pop art project, and almost 1000 "unfaithful" bottles were in distribution. The American media reported that the US Food and Drug Administration report noted the person responsible for altering the label can face charges if it is determined that the intent was to injure a business. Speaking to the channel KUSA TV, Kay did not discuss how he pulled off the pran and managed to get the bottles into the store but admitted that it was expensive. "I used my connections," he said.
