London, Feb 12 (ANI): Ashley Cole was yesterday involved in a sex scandal after naked pictures of him were allegedly sent to a glamour model.
According to reports, Sonia Wild, 28, received explicit mobile phone pictures of the Chelsea full-back with raunchy text messages. She replied with images of herself, reports The Sun.
The defender, who's married to Cheryl Cole, admitted taking the snaps of himself while "larking about" in the England squad's Hertfordshire hotel. However he denied sending them to the 28-year-old beauty while engaging her in hours of text sex.
Ashley claimed he had given the phone away to a pal.
Cole, 29, said: "I can't believe I gave a phone away that still had stuff in its memory. I thought I'd deleted it. It seems I was wrong as someone has used it to pretend to be me."
A source close to the left back said: "Ashley's embarrassed about this. He was larking about in his room with his cameraphone before the match. He was in all his glory.
"He took the images on an unregistered pay-as-you-go phone then didn't manage to delete them when he gave it away to a mate. To say he's horrified to discover the pictures were sent to a model is an understatement."
In 2008, Cole's marriage was rocked after hairdresser Aimee Walton claimed they had a one night stand. (ANI)
