Barrister Farooq lodges a claim of Rs 55m against PCB

Lahore, Mar 13 (PTI) A well known Barrister in Lahore, Farooq Hasan has lodged a claim for Rs 55 million as damages against the Pakistan Cricket Board for not paying his fees. The claim has been lodged in the court of senior civil judge Lahore today and Farooq has told the court that the PCB had acquired his services at the rate of USD 500 per hour but it had as yet not paid any fees to him. No details were available as to on which case, the Barrister had represented the board. Barrister Farooq requested the court to get him an amount of USD 92,000 from the board on account of his outstanding fees and damages. The senior civil judge has issued notices to Chairman PCB Ejaz Butt and CEO Wasim Bari for appearing before the court on March 31.
