The MCE Society's M A Rangoonwala Institute of Hotel Management and Research, Azam Campus, Camp, will organise the second edition of the M A Rangoonwala T10 Cricket Tournament at Md Gany sports Complex Ground, Azam Campus, from March 8-10.
According to a press note, the tournament aims at creating a common platform for students from various catering colleges and institutes to interact and develop team spirit, which is essential in hospitality operations. It was started last year by Prof Anita Frantz, principal of M A Rangoonwala Institute of Hotel Management and Research.
The competition is sponsored by Bindra's Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd.
The first edition of the tournament, which saw Bindra's Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd emerge champions, had received support from famous sports personalities and saw good response from catering establishments and hotel management colleges, the note said.
A four-feet gold plated rolling trophy will be awarded to the winning tean, it added.
