Australia completed a record 13th consecutive victory over Pakistan on the fourth day of the first test at Lord's on Friday.
The Australians had shared the previous record with Sri Lanka, who have beaten Bangladesh 12 times in a row.
Pakistan, set 440 to win the first match in a two-test series, were dismissed for 289 during the afternoon session to give Australia victory by 150 runs.
The series is being played on neutral territory because of the fraught security situation in Pakistan.
