Ranchi, July 5 (IANS) Hundreds of fans of M.S. Dhoni were waiting eagerly at Ranchi airport Monday to receive the cricket captain and his newly-wed wife, but were disappointed when the star did not arrive.
However, the parents and relatives of Dhoni returned to the state capital in the evening after attending the cricket star's marriage that took place in Dehradun Sunday.
The parents of Dhoni did not speak to mediapersons and even entered their houses from the rear side to avoid the fans.
Dhoni wed his fiancee Sakshi Rawat in a very private wedding in Dehradun.
Dhoni is likely to arrive in Ranchi Tuesday.
